Hey so I was thinking of making one of these kegbots for my kegerator and started researching it, but my kegerator has 6 taps and I thought I came across the fact that you can only do a small number of taps per board you buy. Is this true? How many can you operate with one controller? Thanks.

I believe the current version of the kegboardmini allows for 4 taps to be monitored and controlled. This could definitely be expanded, but you would have to build a custom board and slightly modify the code (this is assuming there are any more free pins available on a standard Arduino, which I do not know off the top of my head).

Another thing you could do is build two kegboards and have one with two coasters and one with a single. This would give you two separate "kegbots" that control the existing 6, and it would still give you the capability to add another coaster (2 more taps) in the future. Running two kegbot controllers with a single kegbot installation (server software) should be doable, but you'll have to have Mike or Geoff confirm that as I haven't really looked at the code in detail.

Hi guys,
Actually, I'm told that the current kegboard mini will only handle 2 flow monitors and that the 2 coasters have matching circuits on them just for convenience of location. I do know that currently you can hook up 2 kegboards to support up to 4 taps, or use an arduino mega and support up to 6 taps..
