KegBB

hi all!

well, as you may have guessed i've been up to some things this week.. which include a kegbot PCB (finally!) here's a crappy picture:

yup, i got 80 of them today. they look great and mostly work great, though i have found the inevitable mistakes: the usb TX/RX leds don't work (not a big loss), and some of the DC signal lines are a little too close for comfort to the AC relay lines. nothing that can't be fixed with slight modification or two.

the other news is some friends of a friend have demanded i come to defcon, going on this weekend in las vegas. they insisted on having kegbot there, and having a kegbot party (even suggested a cool idea to me: drinking 'teams' with shared ibuttons!) so that's where i'm headed this very moment!

these guys make a pretty neat internet only tv show, at http://fromtheshadows.tv. (they came up here last week and tooks some video of me explaining the kegbot; i come off really dorky im sure, heh).. i'm not sure what kind of publicity kegbot will get, but it may get some.
