Looks pretty good, I'm also in Milwaukee and will soon be upgrading my kegerator to a kegbot. The setup currently has a older microprocessor doing temperature control left over from an older setup which i will be replacing. The old setup was very similar to kegbot but used a scale to weight the keg instead of a flow meter. My setup is a chest freezer w/ 2 half barrels. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to go with an RFID tag set up because i don't know if i can get everyone to actually use it.

That's great, another possible kegbot is always welcome news to hear.

I am of the opinion that "if you build it, they will come". I really had no problems convincing my drinkers to use their RFID cards. If they don't it's "No Beer for You".

To those following along at home,

I've updated some of the prices and links in my original post (RFID reader, Arduino Uno, ...)
If anyone notices dead links, please reply and I will keep them updated.

Cheers,
Geoff

I also found another parts site that may help durastill parts.

I contacted SwissFlow and was assisted by Dirk B.van Wezel. He was very helpful... He quoted me 20 Euro per meter, and 2 Euro each for John Guest Speedfit connectors (which, based on my research, is a great price). After discussing a bit further, he offered to throw in simple 1/4" hose barb connectors for free rather than the speedfit connectors. Shipping of two flowmeters plus connectors came to 16.50 Euro (I live in Toronto, Canada). There was also 19% VAT added to the order.

With speed fit connectors:

2x 20 Euro (SwissFlow sensor)
4x 2 Euro ( John Guest speed fit)
= 48 x 1.19 (VAT) = 57,12 Euro + 16,50 Euro (TNT registered mail ) = 73,62 Euro

Without speed fit connectors:

2x 20 Euro (SwissFlow sensor )
4x 0 (simple hose barb connector)
= 40 x 1,19 (VAT) = 47,60 + 16,50 ( TNT registered mail ) = 64,10 Euro

SwissFlow was great to deal with... can't wait until these babies show up at the door!

Thanks for the heads up, I've updated the link.

The Swissflow link is now broken. Updated address is: http://www.swissflow.com/sf800.html

Also, why the BrewTroller relay board and the Sparkfun relay boards? I'm putting together the solenoid / relay combination for us, and was planning on just using 12v DC solenoids. Unless I'm missing something, this looks redundant.
